RE:IMPACT consists of three stages: application, interview and final.
Following the application period, an internal review panel selects the ideas that will progress to the next stage. The selected doctoral students will be interviewed by an innovation adviser from Malmö University, providing an opportunity to further develop and clarify their ideas. The interview, together with the written application, forms the basis for the assessment of which participants advance to the final.
Those who advance to the final receive support in preparing their presentations through both group and individual coaching sessions. During the final, participants present their ideas to a jury and audience. The event also provides opportunities for dialogue and networking with external stakeholders from industry, the public sector and civil society.
Further details about the competition format can be found in the competition terms and conditions.
