Welcome to the FutureMakers Award

We are excited to welcome you to the FutureMakers Award, where we celebrate the transformative power of ideas that can significantly impact society and future generations.

In a rapidly changing world, the need for changemakers is more crucial than ever. As a pioneering and inclusive institution, Malmö University is committed to addressing complex societal, economic, and environmental challenges. We aim to contribute to a more sustainable and equitable society by encouraging critical thinking, foresight, and promoting action and cultivating future consciousness among our students is, therefore, essential to our mission.

In light of this, we created FutureMakers. FutureMakers is an idea competition for Malmö University students, promoting visionary thinking, creativity and sustainability. The competition culminates in a grand finale in December, the FutureMakers Award. We are excited to welcome you to this energetic event, where we celebrate the transformative power of ideas that can significantly impact society and future generations.

At the FutureMakers Award, Malmö University will showcase the brilliant ideas and visions of our talented student finalists. These ideas have the potential to shape the future and make a positive impact on society. With a total of 50,000 SEK at stake, the competition is fierce, and the ideas are bound to spark your interest. We hope you will join us and support the next generation of changemakers and celebrate creative thinking and the development of ideas for sustainable development.
